Can NOOK COLOR ebook reader read non DRM PDF ebooks from any source ?

I have many pdf ebooks in my computer. None of them are DRM/copyright protected.Also none of those books are purchased from Barnes and Nobles. Can I transfer and read them on a NOOK COLOR ebook reader ? I mean, can it read only books purchased from Barnes and Nobles or any ebook from any source ?

If your PDF collection is substantial, and especially if the PDF involves color, get a iPad. It has the best PDF support of all of the ereaders, and its large screen helps when reflow isn’t possible. If you value book-like display quality of an E Ink Pearl display, go with one of the Sony Readers. They use Adobe’s Mobile PDF Reader software and provide good PDF support. You’ll lose on apps and web browsing, though, as iPad can’t be beat there.
